BIG Mike Arnone

Big Mike was born and raised in Southern California beach cities ranging from Laguna Beach, Dana Point, Laguna Niguel, Newport Beach, Huntington Beach, Belmont Shores and currently 15+ years in Venice Beach. Mike was born into a family of fine athletes and  played nearly every sport offered, including baseball, snowbaording, wrestlng, football, swimming and soccer. He travelled the globe playing Club Soccer up-to semi-pro level all the way into his early 40s. Mike became a Certified Personal Trainer and has trained beach Boot Camp group classes for over 10 years. On the weekends, you can find him kayaking, boogie-boarding, cruising the Venice boardwalk and hitting the slopes.

Kevin Curtis

I have always been an outdoor enthusiast. When I was a kid, you could count on finding me out in the backyard barefoot playing in the dirt or climbing up trees. At age 13, I decided I needed to get in shape, so I started running, doing push-ups, and lifting weights. My interest for health and fitness eventually grew into a career. After eight years working as a personal trainer in gyms, I wanted to find a way to do what I loved outside. I believe we could all use a little less time cooped up indoors and a little more time out under the blue sky. Nowadays, I focus on workouts that can be done at parks, beaches, or right in your backyard. I use a variety of functional training equipment such as free weights, medicine balls, resistance bands, and bodyweight suspension training. But it's not the equipment or the exercise that makes the difference; it's how you do it. That's why it is so important to have a trainer or coach! I encourage my clients to be present, powerful, and have fun during their workouts, and to connect with their core values as a source of inspiration and motivation. Whether your goal is to look better, feel better, get stronger, or all of the above, I will get you there, and we'll have fun along the way.
